This grand musical programme highlights the Indian independence movement. It traces the journey of this country from the Vedic times to the present times and examines the very concept of freedom. When we were celebrating Golden jubilee of Indian independence Hande felt the need to explain what freedom is to the younger generation.

When we talk about Azadi what type of Azadi do we expect and what is the meaning of Independence? How the interpretations of freedom have changed over time? History, drama, music, dances, film and narration are blended, so that the whole theatrical impact not only gives history and entertainment but also compels you to think about our nation and freedom. About 150 artistes perform about 350 characters to display the Indian history.
